Early Autumn - Apple and Cinnamon
New VapeSafe Early Autumn eLiquid.
Early Autumn - Apples and Cinnamon flavored eLiquid evokes memories of the beginning of fall. The feel of the warm autumn sun on the skin. The sight of vibrant hues of amber and crimson leaves hanging in gently swaying trees soaking up the light. The rustling sound of the breeze slipping through the tree branches tugging and teasing the remaining leaves into releasing their hold and floating downward. The laughing children raking the leaves into piles and then running and jumping into the soft, luscious piles scattering the leaves again. The delicious smells of baking apple and cinnamon pies wafting through open windows. These are the sights, smells and tastes of Early Autumn.
Early Autumn eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of Autumn no matter what season it is. Early Autumn eLiquid is flavorful combination of apples and cinnamon. As with all of the VapeSafe eLiquids, our mixtures are designed to produce nice, heavy vapors and the most succulent flavors. Try Early Autumn eLiquid today!

3 of 5 stars for the Kindle Edition of the San Jose Mercury News. About 10 years ago, I switched newspapers from an SF paper to the Merc to get improved South Bay coverage, Valley Tech news and of course the ads, specially the Fry's ads. Day by day, the Merc has drifted lighter and lighter in contents to a thinner paper with the ads being the best part. So as a new Kindle owner, I thought I'd try the Merc. Some days it is almost content-free and others there is some meat. The Kindle edition is lacking much of the editorial contents of the paper version. Generally, the Kindle edition delivers: Front Page news, Local News, Sports, Business/Tech and another section which varies by day of the week. A heavy day will have about 15 Front Page articles, about 10 Local News and about 10 in Business. I don't do Sports (yeah really) so I don't track it. In all honesty, I usually read all of an issue in about 5 minutes. I do like that Kindle makes navigation really quick an easy; frankly faster than finding articles in the huge paper edition. What is seriously lacking are the ads.
So, bottom line, I will contine the paper edition for purposes of getting the ads (specially Fry's; if Fry's drops Merc, I drop Merc paper edition). I will continue with a Kindle subscription to quickly and efficiently get my local news. So, yes, I am happy but there is lots of room for improvements.

Summary: "Needs work"
The paper needs to have a proof-reader review the Kindle addition for:
1. duplicate articles
2. extraneous editing chars and commands
3. headings not in bold or separated by blank lines
However, reading the Kindle version of the Mercury News is still better than reading the paper version and getting your fingers black from the ink.

Summary: "Not worth subscribing to"
The articles were fine, just like the printed version; however, there were no pictures, graphs, maps etc. Also if you're interested in following your local sporting teams, don't expect any nice table of statistics for individual games, or team standings. Frankly I was disappointed.

Summary: "Excellent step into digital delivery"
I got my Kindle 2 in Feb 2009 and immediately signed up for the Merc News. Five months later I can say I am very satisfied. Most of the "poor" reviews here are old and about missed delivery.
I love the wispernet delivery - every day my news paper is in my Kindle by 7am PST. I did have one day in March that it didn't come, but that is a better success rate than my local newsstand. Since then, the delivery has been 100%.
I really enjoy reading the newspaper each day and not having a wad of paper to throw away. I like not having black ink on my fingers each morning.
I miss the comics. I miss the crossword. I mostly miss the photos.
I've made suggestions to the Merc News and they have been very responsive. I hope we see photos added soon; then I'll up my review to five stars.
Overall a solid "B" for a great newspaper moving into the eInk market.
Jim
